A few pics

Computer trouble

So, we had some virus problems on our computer, which put it out of commission for about a week.  Now that we have it back, it has been frustrating all over again because the process they did to clean it means stuff wasn't put back the same way...my photo software that stores pics from the camera is empty except for the first download I did since getting it back.  My other pics appear to be there when I look in "my computer"...but, when I go to upload to blogger, I can only see the old pics, not the newly downloaded.  Seriously.  Annoying.  I wish I knew just a bit more about Since I can't put new photos up, here are a couple recent conversations for you enjoyment pleasure!

Me: Eyla, do you want to wear shoes or flip-flops today?
Eyla: flip-flops, my polka-dot ones.
Me:  which ones do you mean?  You don't have polka-dot flip-flops.
Eyla: my polka-dot ones (pointing)
Me:  Oh, the ones with beads?  Those aren't polka-dots.
Eyla:  They not polka-dots, Mama?  They beads.
(I'll include a picture of her "polka-dot" feet when I can upload pics)

Conversations in the car:
Me:  What is your turtle's name?
Eyla: Daisy
Me:  What is Daisy's big name?  Daisy Grace Horning?
Eyla:  NO, MAMA! It Daisy Turtle.

Talking about things outside the car that God made...trees, sky, clouds, etc.
Me:  What else did God make?
Eyla:  Trash cans, Mama.

While driving past a yard filled with large Easter eggs:
Me: Look at the eggs - they're for Easter.
Eyla: No, Mama, they're for chickens.

 Just as I'm getting ready to publish this post, Eyla (sitting at the table, coloring with markers) says: Mama, I color on my cheek.  Pictures to come :)

Fun with family in March

To celebrate Austin & Josh's birthdays, we met them in Ft. Wayne for lunch and a movie.

Painting Fun Spot was a great little shop where you pick out a plaster piece, and then get to paint it there in the shop.  It is ready to take with you when you leave!
